Augusta, Maine- Runners from across the state joined AGC Maine at Shaw Cherry Hill Farm trails in Gorham, Maine on Friday, September 17th for the Contractor 5K Trail Race. Proceeds from the race are donated to the Gorham CTE schools to support the next generation of skilled workers.

Ben Brennan – Overall Men’s Fastest Time (19:54.60 Finish, 6:25 Pace)
Nora Schmidt – Overall Women’s Fastest Time (24:09.97 Finish, 7:47 Pace)

This 5K spanned over a unique blend of rolling wooded trails and open fields on the 258 acre farmland, with a gravel finished walkway. The 5K ran up through the ‘Burleigh Lovett’ trail, looped through the ‘EcoMaine’ trail, a final loop through the ‘Mosher Brook’ trail, and back down the ‘Burleigh Lovett’ trail to the finish line.
