Summary

Northern Closure Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of our construction projects. The ideal candidate is passionate about the industry, excels at problem-solving, and values long-term growth within the organization. In this role, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will also serve as the primary liaison among customers, subcontractors, and vendors, proactively resolving challenges and fostering strong professional relationships.

Essential Duties

Primary responsibility in planning, organizing, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents focusing on precision and quality.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Manage job sites to ensure quality control and adherence to safety regulations.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and other team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and budgets.
Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Assist in resolving any issues or delays that arise during the project lifecycle.
Maintain accurate records of project expenses, labor costs, and materials used.
Implement, practice, and always enforce OSHA regulations and safety policies and procedures.
Ensure the ongoing cleanliness of all job sites meets expectations.
Lead a hands-on approach and perform project construction tasks as needed.
Participate in meetings as required.
Handle any challenges with customers, subcontractors, and vendors in a professional manner to ensure the success of the project.

Qualifications/Education

Requires the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Requires a valid Driver’s License.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Proven experience in a leadership role or similar (3+ years preferred).
Some experience in the construction industry is required.
Basic carpentry experience required.
Working knowledge of build codes and safety codes.
Solid understanding of quality control principles in the construction industry.
Use of personal vehicles requires daily to travel between job sites. Must be able to load and unload materials of at least 8ft in length (monthly vehicle stipend available).
Must be able to pass a background check.

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours per day.
Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, lifting, bending, and repetitive motions.
Tasks may vary from day to day and from task to task.
Must be able to travel to and from job sites regularly.
May be subject to noise, vibration, fumes, odor, dust, and gases.
May be subject to hazards related to working with heavy equipment, electricity, chemicals, and heights.
